UPDATE (1:13 p.m.) - Firefighters have stopped the flames from spreading in Price Canyon near Pismo Beach.
CAL FIRE SLO says crews are mopping up the half-acre brush fire and evacuated residents can return home.

(12:13 p.m.) - Firefighters are responding to a brush fire in Price Canyon near Pismo Beach.
It was first reported at about 11:50 a.m. in the area of Price Canyon Road and Thousand Hills Road.
Residents along Canyon Lane are being evacuated.
Crews responding to the fire called for the closure of Price Canyon Road and police are encouraging people to stay out of the area.
